My Second class experience....

On Wednesday 18th, I had my second class experience with Intermediate level. First, I started the class with a warm up and it was a scrambled activity about comparative and superlative adjectives. After that, I checked students’ answer orally.
In this class, I developed some written exercises and in the first activity the students had to underline the correct comparative or superlative adjective according to the sentences. The second one was a fill in the blank activity; and in the third one the students had to write an appropriate comparative or superlative adjective according to the sentences.
At the end, I developed a speaking activity and it was an interview in which students’ had to answer questions such as, who is the oldest/ youngest/ friendliest/ funniest person in your family?  Who do you think is the most talkative/ hardworking/ quietest student in the classroom? Who do you think is the best soccer player around the world? Why? Who do you think is the most beautiful celebrity? Why? What do you think about living in the countryside or the city? Which one do you prefer and why?
In general, this was a nice class because students participated a lot in all the activities, specially; the teacher and the students enjoyed a lot the last communicative activity because students were very excited telling me the answer.  And I think that it is really important so that they can practice the language.

  1. Hy girl, hope you doing fine. It seems that you had a great time when teaching. i like the fact that you always add a variety of activities to your lesson that really helps all the students you have in the classroom, and as you say the last activity must have been really meaningful for them because they had the chance to express their own ideas about the different questions. i know it feels really good when all your students want to participate.

    Blessings Vero countinue working hard!!!

  2. Hello Verónica! I see that you enjoyed your class along with your students!! It's nice that you are very clear when describing your activities. You do it in a simple but understandable way. The activity that I consider the best is the last one. I can notice from your ideas that your students were motivated and that is key for a session to be significant. You made the class be an interesting and enjoyable. Good job Vero!! keep on in the same track!!

  3. Hello Verito,
Your class was pretty nice because you had ss listening, writing, speaking and using their critical thinking by the moment of the interview which makes their learning meaningful. I'm happy for you because you had a nice experience and I really hope that the ones that we are still missing be even nicer than this one. Great job my friend :)
